649th MUNS inventory

The 649th Munitions Squadron will be conducting 100 percent inventories of the Base (FV2027), Test (FV2171), and STAMP (FV2304) stockpiles March 1-29.  During the inventories, the only transactions supported will be emergency requests approved in writing by a group commander or equivalent. For more information, call Tech. Operation Anaconda Remembrance Ruck March

There will be a ruck march at the Fitness Center March 9 at 8:30 a.m. The event is to honor fallen Airmen, Soldiers and Sailors in Takur Ghar on March 4, 2002. This is a free event and will include lunch. To register or for more information, contact 2nd Lt. Andrew Lee at 801-777-5634.

Air Force golf camp

Active-duty, Guard and Reserve Airmen interested in participating in the 2019 Golf Trial Camp, and ultimately Armed Forces Golf Championship, have until March to submit their applications to compete. The camp is May 8-14 at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The Armed Forces Golf Championship, also at Luke AFB, will be May 15-19. Veterans career, benefits fair

A veterans career and benefits fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 pm. March 26 at the Mountain American Exposition Center, 9575 S. State St. in Sandy. The event is free for all military members, veterans and spouses. Resume writing and interview skills training is available statewide through the Utah Department of Workforce Services. LPDP open to lieutenants

The Company Grade Officers Council will host a Lieutenant Professional Development Program, or LPDP, April 22-25 at the Hill AFB Clinic education and training room, building 570. The purpose of the LPDP is to prepare junior officers to successfully meet the challenges of their Air Force careers and to bridge the professional development gap between their respective commissioning sources and Squadron Officer School. Hill Tax Center open

The Hill Air Force Base Tax Center, located at building 349, room 101, is open until tax day, April 15. Hours of operation will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free tax-return preparation and e-filing will be available to all active-duty and retiredservice members and family members with incomes of $54,000 or less. 2019 Regional PDI

The American Society of Military Comptrollers Utah Chapter will host a 2019 Regional PDI from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 28 at the Davis Conference Center, 1651 N. 700 W. in Layton. This training event will feature several speakers will cover topics such as the power of 8s, budget and leadership, Windows tips, congressional budget process and career development. Cost is $40 for ASMC members and $45 for non-members. Lunch is included with the price of a ticket.
