Chief’s Group education scholarship
Twice a year the Team Hill Chief’s Group sponsors a $750 education scholarship for any active duty Air Force, active Air National Guard or active Air Force Reserve (enlisted member or their spouse), within the Hill-area pursuing an academic degree. Combined Federal Campaign
This years national Combined Federal Campaign is underway and runs through Jan. 11, 2019. The CFC has provided millions of dollars in voluntary donations and assistance to thousands of local, national and international non-profit organizations that seek to improve the quality of life of women and men across the globe. Voluntary contributions can be made electronically through the pledge site at cfcgiving.opm.gov and fulfilled via payroll deduction, credit/debit card, or personal check. The site includes a search feature that provides access to the thousands of charities.
Report suspicious activity
Air Force Security Forces are committed to the security of Hill AFB, but security is everyone’s business. If you see or hear something suspicious, report it. The Air Force has long had a program called “Eagle Eyes” that enlists the eyes and ears of Air Force members and the public. Report suspicious activity to the Eagle Eyes hotline at 801-777-3056.
Hill AFB finance in-processing
Personnel at Hill can in-process with finance at 9 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at building 430. Per DODFMR Vol. 9, a travel claim must be filed within five working day of the traveler’s return to or arrival at a permanent duty station, or immediately when the orders are canceled.
