Free movie at the Base Theater
Hill AFB associates and their friends and family are welcome to a free showing of Avengers: Endgame at the base theater Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. The Team Hill 5/6 will be serving free popcorn and selling drinks.
Youth mental health first aid
This free 8-hour course takes place Oct. 1 and 2 from 9 a.m-1 p.m. at the Airman & Family Readiness Center. Participants will learn skills to recognize and help youth in everyday and crisis situations, including thoughts of suicide. A certificate will be provided upon completion of the course. Acrylic Painting Class
Discover your creative side at one of Arts & Crafts’ acrylic painting classes. On Oct. 3 from 4:30-7:30 p.m., you can learn how to paint a Halloween pumpkin scene. Cost is $25 and covers instruction, materials, and a take-home masterpiece you create. Children age 6 and older are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult. Heart Link
How much do you really know about life as a military spouse? Gain a wealth of information and win fabulous free prizes at Heart Link. This event links new military spouses to experienced military spouses in order to create a tradition of integrating families into military life. From healthcare and finances to other benefits, participants can learn about all the new resources available to them on and off base. Chess Club

Haunting on the Hill
The 11th annual Haunting on the Hill will be held Oct. 18 from 5-7:30 p.m. Families are invited to The Landing for food, prizes, games, a magic show, and a Trunk or Treat decorating contest. Midnight at the Masquerade
Experience a night of mystery, mayhem, and murder in this year’s interactive murder mystery dinner theatre at The Landing. See the Murder Mystery Company from Denver perform live starting at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25. Cost is $25 for a night of entertainment and slow-roasted prime rib dinner served with salad, potatoes, veggies, and salted caramel cheesecake. Doors open at 6 p.m. and reservations must be made and paid by Oct. 23 via The Landing at 801-777-3841.
