W. Gate turnstile registration off line
West Gate pedestrian turnstile gate registration is currently unavailable due a problem with the registration system. A maintenance solution is currently being worked. Meanwhile, the turnstile is still operational and people already registered can continue to use it during West Gate operating hours. Free screening: ‘Last Days in Vietnam’
A free, public screening to honor those who served will be held Nov. 10 at the Davis Conference Center in Layton.
KUED Channel 7 and the Sundance Institute will present a documentary called “Last Days in Vietnam.” A reception will be held at 5:30 p.m. with the film screening at 6:30 p.m. Seating is limited.

Pro bowler visits Hill Air Force Base
The No. 1 ranked bowler in the world, Jason Belmonte, will visit the Hill AFB Bowling Center from 4-8 p.m. Nov. 10. The event will include a photo and autograph session, trick shot bowling clinic, and a Beat Belmonte Bowl-off , where three lucky winners will have the unique opportunity to bowl one game against the pro bowler. WSU football game set for Nov. 21
Weber State University will hold a Military Appreciation Game Nov. 21 at Stewart Stadium in Ogden.
Team Hill members are eligible for four free game tickets by showing their government ID at the stadium’s box office.
The game is at 1 p.m. against Idaho State.

Veterinary facility changes hours
The Hill AFB Veterinary Treatment Facility has changed its hours due to a temporary manning shortage.
Pet registration will be available on Mon. and Wed. and clinic appointments on Tues. and Thurs. Hours on those days are 8 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. The VTF is closed on Fridays.
Hours will be extended when manning returns to normal. Callers are asked to leave a message and the VTF staff will return calls quickly. For more information or to make an appointment, call 801-777-2611.

EAP offers free services to families
The Employee Assistance Program provides assessment, counseling, referral, management consultation and coaching services to government civilian employees and their family members free of cost (some limitations apply).
The program aims to help employees resolve personal problems that may adversely affect their work performance, conduct, and health and well-being.
Services offered include assessment, counseling and referral; financial; legal; supervisor/manager coaching and consultation; website resources; health and wellness presentations; and orientation presentations.

Lost/stolen IDs must be reported
There are new procedures in place for reporting lost or stolen Common Access Cards at Hill Air Force Base.
The cards, used by Team Hill members to enter the base and access computer networks, are controlled documents that contain personal information.
As soon as the discovery is made that a card has been lost or stolen, members must report the issue to the 75th Security Forces Squadron Pass and Identification Office or Emergency Communications Center at 801-777-3056.
They must then visit the 75th Security Forces Squadron in Building 408 and fill out an Air Force Form 1168, explaining the circumstances surrounding the lost or stolen card.
The Form 1168 is required before users can have a new card issued by customer service at the Force Support Squadron in Building 430. Two forms of current federal ID are also required to have a new card issued (passport, driver’s license, social security card, etc.).
