Gate changes
The Hill AFB West Gate will become a 24/7 access entry control point starting April 17. When the change occurs, the Roy Gate’s new hours will be 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday and it will be closed on weekends and federal holidays. The Roy Gate will be open on AFMC Family Days. All commercial vehicle access/inspection will still take place at the Roy Gate. Drivers with commercial deliveries outside of Roy Gate’s hours of operation will need to contact the Law Enforcement Desk at 801 777-3058 to request a vehicle inspection. There will be a sign and a telephone posted at the commercial inspection area instructing drivers of this change. Opening the West Gate 24/7 will allow for more convenient access to the installation at night and on the weekends. The South Gate hours will remain unchanged. For more information, call 801-775-2627.
