Personnel at Hill AFB will participate in a ShakeOut drill scheduled for 10:15 a.m. April 19. Exercise inspectors will be going from room to room to have personnel demonstrate what to do during an earthquake. When directed you should “drop, cover, and hold on” as if there were a major earthquake occurring at that very moment, and stay in the position for at least 60 seconds. The goal of the ShakeOut is to get Hill AFB prepared for major earthquakes by learning what to do before, during, and after an earthquake. Visit www.shakeout.org for more information.
