Blood drive March 16

Women’s history trivia

The Women’s History Month Committee would like to invite Hill AFB personnel and their families to the Gerrity Memorial Library from 5-6:30 p.m., March 20 for a trivia night on women’s history. The event is open to all ages to compete against one another or with each other. Prizes will be provided to trivia winners. Call 801-777-2533 for details.

Hiring Utah’s Heroes career fair

A career fair will be held March 20 at Mountain America Exposition Center (formerly South Towne) located at 9575 South State Street in Sandy. The fair is free and open to military members, veterans and their spouses. More than 90 of the state’s top employers will be in attendance. 649th MUNS inventory

The 649th Munitions Squadron will conduct an inventory of the depot (FV2172) stockpile from April 2-30. Customers who require munitions support during this timeframe must deliver the applicable documentation to the custody accounts section no later than March 21. During the inventory, the only transactions supported will be emergency requests approved in writing by their group commander or equivalent. Call Staff Sgt. Heart Link for military spouses

Heart Link will be held from 5-9 p.m. March 22 at the Airman and Family Readiness Center. Heart Link is offered quarterly for military spouses so they can learn more about on- and off-base resources, hear from base leadership, and socialize and network with other spouses. Events include presentations, games and prizes, and a meal. Call 801-777-4681 for details.

Archery Club 3D shoot event

The Hill AFB Archery Club is sponsoring a 3D shooting event on March 24. Register at the event from 9 a.m. to noon. The first group will go out at 9 a.m. and the last group at 1 p.m. Entry fees are due at registration and are $10 for Hill AFB Archery Club members, $20 for non-members, $5 for youth ages 12-15, and free for 11 and younger. SAAPM breakfast

A Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month breakfast will be from 7:30-8:30 a.m. April 3 at the Hill Aerospace Museum. Admission is free. The guest speaker is Jeffery Bucholtz, Director of We End Violence. An email invite was sent to the base with a link to register for the breakfast. Register by March 26. Soccer players wanted

Military, civilians and family members are wanted to form a Hill AFB soccer team. The team will play in a Utah-based soccer league from April-October. It will also participate in the All-military Soccer Tournament in San Antonio, Texas, over Labor Day weekend. The tournament includes multiple teams from across the armed forces. Cross-country season

The Warrior Fitness Center will sponsor a cross-country program starting in April. Eight races – one each week – will be held at 4:20 p.m. Thursdays April 5 through May 24. Courses are 5K in length and located at different locations around base. Runners, walkers and baby strollers are all welcome. Individual and team registrations will be offered.
