The 4th Fighter Squadron “Fightin’ Fujins” flew a fini flight May 31. The flight was significant for many Fujins as they transition to the F-35A Lightning II. The 4th Fighter Squadron is one of three squadrons in the 388th Fighter Wing. All of them will transition to flying the F-35; the wing is expected to reach full operational capability with 78 jets in 2019.
