Depot stockpile set for inventory
The 649th Munitions Squadron will be conducting a 100 percent inventory of the depot stockpile April 1-29.
All depot customers requiring munitions support during this timeframe must have delivered the applicable documentation to the Custody Accounts section by March 22. During the inventory, the only transactions that will be supported are emergency requests approved in writing by the group commander or equivalent.

SAPR ‘Glow Run’ set for April 29
The Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Glow Run will be held on April 29 from 7-9:30 p.m. in Centennial Park.
The run is open to all ages and approximately 1 mile long.
In addition to the run, there will be free giveaways, candy, a DJ and bouncy castles. For more information, contact the SAPR office at 801-777-1985.
Fall-prevention video challenge issued
Air Force Occupational Safety invites Airmen to challenge their creativity and participate in a safety video challenge to help promote the prevention of mishaps due to falls.
The videos that best communicate fall prevention will be posted on the Air Force Safety Center website and available for use Air Force wide, and included in occupational safety resources to highlight and promote Fall Protection Weeks, May 2-13.
A few simple rules apply:
• Videos should involve no dangerous activities
• No one gets injured in the video process
• Length is no more than 30 seconds. Videos may be produced with the help of local public affairs — if resources are available — or created solely by the Airmen entering the video challenge.
Submit videos to HQ AFSEC/PA Mailbox, or call 505-846-0468 for submission instructions. Deadline for entries is April 1.
AFSA Golf Tournament May 6
The Air Force Sergeants Association will hold a golf tournament May 6 at Hill AFB’s Hubbard Memorial Golf Course.
Registration is at 7 a.m. The tournament begins at 8 a.m. Cost is $65. Preregister by April 22 and save $10.

Utah veterans business conference
Join the Utah Veteran Owned Business Partnership partners to learn about the keys to becoming a successful veteran-owned business, local and national resources, and connect with other entrepreneurs and business owners.
The conference will be held at Salt Lake Community College’s Karen Gail Miller Conference Room at 9750 S. 300 West, Sandy. Cost is $25.

Hero2Hired job fair scheduled in Layton
Businesses looking to hire veterans for at least three positions will be participating in the free Hero2Hired job fair scheduled for May 26 at the Davis Conference Center in Layton.
This H2H Job Fair is sponsored by the Utah Veterans and Military Employment Coalition, Utah Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), Utah Department of Workforce Services, Utah Department of Veterans and Military Affairs, Utah Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) and many other local partners.

Family days for 2016
AFMC has designated the following days as “AFMC Family Days” for 2016:
• Friday, May 27 in conjunction with the Memorial Day
• Tuesday, July 5 in conjunction with Independence Day
• Friday, Sept. 2 in conjunction with Labor Day
• Friday, Nov. 25 in conjunction with Thanksgiving Day
• Tuesday, Dec. 27 in conjunction with Christmas
Nov. 25 will also be an “Energy Shutdown Day” and the West Gate will be closed this day and all holidays. Employees working compressed work schedules will change their regular day off to align with the family Energy Shutdown Day. Supervisors are encouraged to follow liberal leave procedures during the family days.
