FEHB health fair
Federal employees health benefits open season runs Nov. 13-Dec. 11. Employees can meet with health insurance representatives during the FEHB health fair to be held at the Warrior Fitness Center, building 533, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Dec. 5-7.
Recalled fire extinguishers
Your home, vehicle or kitchen fire extinguisher may be recalled. Kidde extinguishers with plastic handles or push button models are recalled. These extinguishers may not work when needed. If you have a recalled plastic handled or push button fire extinguisher, contact Kidde at 855-271-0773 or online at www.kidde.com and click on ‘Product Safety Recall.’ Do not turn in extinguishers at fire departments.
AFMC Family Days observed in 2017
Hill AFB will observe the following AFMC Family Days in 2017: Nov. 24, in conjunction with Thanksgiving Day on Nov. 23; and Dec. 26, in conjunction with Christmas on Dec. 25. The Hill AFB Roy Gate will be closed on all holidays including the Nov. 24 AFMC Family Day. Supervisors are encouraged to follow liberal leave procedures for Family Days and may approve annual leave, compensatory time, time-off award, credit hours, or leave without pay for their employees. Immunization clinic closure notice
The 75th Medical Group Immunizations Clinic will be closed daily from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please note that the last sign-in for morning services will be at 11 a.m. In addition, the immunizations clinic closes every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. for smallpox vaccinations administration.
