Q: The sprinklers on the southwest side of Bldg. 225 are on every night. This has been going on almost all summer. I don’t think that part of the grass needs that much water.

A: Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Extended/additional watering was being performed to help establish new sod that was planted earlier this summer. The contractor will be reducing the water schedule and duration for the remainder of the irrigation season. Thanks again for bring this to my attention, we all must be good stewards to do our part to conserve water when possible.
