HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — A new traffic light is being installed at the intersection of Wardleigh Road and Arsenal.The signal is scheduled to be activated by the end of May.

During construction and testing, civil engineer officials would like to remind drivers to exercise caution wherever workers are present.

This will be the second light installed on Wardleigh in recent months, as a traffic light at Wardleigh and H Avenue was installed in August.

Officials said the increasing volume of traffic and the safety of motorists along Wardleigh is the reason for the new traffic lights. There was one fatality and several near misses at these intersections last year.
