Davis Co. Health Dept. vaccinates base personnel, enhances mission readiness

HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — Brig. Gen. Steven J. Bleymaier, Ogden Air Logistics Complex commander, thanks Davis County Health Department personnel here Oct. 19 for their assistance in vaccinating the Hill Air Force Base population against communicable diseases.

This year, they scheduled 23 satellite clinics at 19 different on-base locations offering insurance-covered influenza, pneumonia and Tdap vaccinations to government civilians, contractors and Tricare beneficiaries. Everyone who receives a vaccination positively contributes to the entire community’s health and wellness, and this partner program has made significant strides in keeping the Team Hill population healthy and ready to complete the installation’s missions.
