The Davis Arts Council is offering 2-for-1 tickets to Hill AFB active duty, civilians and retirees for an August performance by country singer Collin Raye.
Raye will perform at Layton City’s Ed Kenley Amphitheater (403 N. Wasatch Drive) at 8 p.m., Aug. 20 for the Davis Arts Council’s annual Hill AFB Appreciation Night. The event is part of the Summer Nights with the Stars program that is held each summer at the open air venue.
Raye, a country artist with hits starting in the 1990s, has 24 top 10 records, 16 No. 1 hits and has been nominated as the male vocalist of the year 10 times. Some of his hits include “Love, Me,” “In This Life,” “Not That Different” and “If I were You.”
To get the discount tickets, visit the Davis Arts Council Website, http://www.davisarts.org/.
Once on the site, select the $19 General Admission tickets for the lawn area. This is a first-come first-serve seating area and attendees should bring their own full-size lawn chair for seating.
Select (2) Quick Pick tickets.
Enter the coupon password code, HAFB16 Thanks (password is case sensitive). This will bring up a prompt to select “Hill Air Force Base Appreciation Night.” The discount price will show as the transaction is finalized.
The system will force ticket buyers to choose the (Will Call) delivery option so that government ID can be verified in person by the box office staff. The staff cannot release tickets to anyone without their government ID.
The 2-for-1 discount is available only for two tickets per ID card holder. The system will only change the price for two of the Colin Ray tickets. All other ticket orders will be at full price.
