The base’s indoor pool is adding open recreational swimming for patrons.

As of May 27, the indoor pool is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with lap swim from 8 a.m. to11 a.m. and open swim with limited lap swim from noon to 4 p.m.

The indoor pool will be closed weekends and federal holidays

Hill’s outdoor pool will remain closed indefinitely due to a lack of resources associated with operating the pool.

Those seeking some outdoor water fun can use the splash pad at Centennial Park (located just west of the base’s South Gate), which is open daily from 10 a.m. to dusk.

The splash pad located in base housing area will also be available to residents.
