Team Hill’s “Haunting on the Hill” Halloween event was Oct. 23 at The Landing.

The trunk-or-treat festivities allowed volunteers to adorn their vehicles with Halloween-themed decorations and dress up in costume to hand out candy to hundreds of costume-clad children and family members.

Prizes were awarded to the top three decorated vehicles. First place, “Kreepy Kazoos” by Brett Terrill, Kina Williamson, Heather Rosiere, Orita Murray, Jocelyn Gomez, Zachary Reid, Gian Reville,  Amyah Roberts, and Ethan Mattos); second place, “Star Wars” by 501st Legion Alpine Garrison; and third place, Thomas Hackett.

The evening event also featured a cake walk, spooky stories, crafts, karaoke, carnival games and prizes, a magician and a haunted hallway.
