HILL AIR FORCE BASE — Hill’s civilian employees interested in making changes to health benefits will soon have an opportunity.
Federal Employees Health Benefits Open Season will run Nov. 9 through Dec. 14.
A health fair, with health insurance representatives, will be held at the Warrior Fitness Center, Building 533, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 9, 10 and 12; and Dec. 8, 9 and 10.
Brochures and information on 2016 premiums will be available at the health fair and at the Office of Personnel Management website at www.opm.gov/insure/.
Guides to information on Federal Employees Health Benefits, Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program, and Flexible Spending Account Program are also available on the Office of Personnel Management Website at www.opm.gov/insure/health/planinfo/guides/index.asp.
Most Federal civilians will review RI 70-1, and temporary employees will review RI 70-8.
The annual open season provides employees with the opportunity to:
a) Enroll in a flexible spending account.
b) Enroll in, change or cancel an existing enrollment in a dental or vision plan under the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program.
c) Enroll in, change or cancel an existing enrollment in a health plan under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program.
Employees may make open season enrollments, or changes at the Employee Benefits Information System (EBIS) web application via AFPC Secure at https://w20.afpc.randolph.af.mil/AFPCSecureNET20/PKI/MainMenu1.aspx
