Fifth Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Robert D. Gaylor speaks to Team Hill Airmen at Hill Air Force Base Oct. 8.

The retired chief spoke about his military career and experiences that began in the Army Air Corps, prior to the Air Force becoming a separate service in 1947.

He also commented on how over the years the Air Force has continued to improve as a service, and expressed how each and every Airman should be proud, regardless of their career field, because they are the most highly trained specialists the Air Force has ever had.
