For more than 15 years, the Hill Air Force Base Officers’ Spouses’ Club (HOSC) has been hosting Bazaars on base. This year’s Holiday Bazaar is quickly approaching on Nov. 19. The event will be held in the ballroom at The Landing from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and is free to attend for anyone with base access.
The HOSC Holiday Bazaar is the must-stop shopping event of the season with more than 50 vendors. Shop for Christmas gifts, baby items, and household decorations for the holiday season.
Hand-crafted items from local crafters and artists will be on display and home businesses will be represented as well.
“The Bazaar is a fun way to raise money and help support local businesses,” said the HOSC Bazaar Chair, Jaime Hilliard. “I enjoy organizing the Bazaar because I know I’m playing a direct role helping to raise money that will help our community.”
The money raised from the Bazaar will benefit the HOSC Welfare Fund, which provides charitable gifts to the military and civilian community.
Attending the HOSC Bazaar is a wonderful way to check items off of your holiday gift list while giving back to the local community. Those in attendance find special, unique, and beautiful items they may not have otherwise encountered.
