HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — The 75th Force Support Squadron at Hill Air Force Base was recently recognized as the 2018 Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command Curtis E. LeMay award winner.
The award recognized 75th FSS as the best large FSS in the command for leadership, customer service, support and quality-of-life programs. The squadron is responsible for the morale, welfare and recreation services for Hill’s more than 25,000 military, civilians and families. This is the fourth year in a row the unit has won the award.
In Facebook post, the 75th FSS said, “We are proud to continue serving our customers with same above and beyond the call of duty attitude.”
The award was named in honor of Air Force Gen. Curtis E. LeMay who, in addition to his aviation accomplishments, had a life-long interest in support and quality-of-life programs provided to Air Force members and their families. The 75th FSS will now compete against other large FSS units from other major commands at the Air Force level.
