A Women’s History Month Luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 24 at The Landing on base. 

The guest speaker is Thomasania Montgomery-Leydsman, one of the first two African-American women commissioned following graduation from the Coast Guard’s Officer Candidate School. The theme for the event is “Weaving the Stories of Women’s Lives.” 

The menu is chef salad or club sandwich. Cost is $14 for nonclub members, $12 for club members.
