Have you participated in Civilian Health Promotion Services, or CHPS, screenings before? Do you know your numbers?
If you have not ever participated or it has been more than a year, the Hill Air Force Base CHPS team would like to invite you to check it out. Screenings offered include blood glucose, cholesterol, body fat percentage and blood pressure, which can be done in less than 15 minutes.
Bottom line: It is quick and easy and free.
What to expect?
• No needles; just a fingerstick
• Private; information just given to you
• No fasting necessary, unless you are looking for best results, since not fasting affects your triglycerides and blood glucose
• No appointment necessary, but we do take appointments first
• DOD civilians only for cholesterol, but anyone can participate with blood pressure or body composition.
