HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — 2018 was a huge year for the 388th Fighter Wing. From completing a deployment in Japan to demonstrating readiness and capability in the first-ever F-35A elephant walk. Fiday, the wing made sure the “rock stars,” who made those and many more vital, but unseen accomplishments possible, were recognized during its never-boring annual award ceremony.
“Tonight is not about pomp and circumstance. Tonight is about you. You all have done amazing things. We have a wing full of rock stars and just being nominated is no small feat. Be proud,” said 388th Fighter Wing commander, Col. Lee Kloos.
