HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah – Maj. Gen. Ronald Miller, 10th Air Force commander, met with a group of 419th Fighter Wing Airmen today to discuss challenges facing the junior enlisted force. Miller is visiting here to preside over a wing change of command ceremony later today, at which time Col. Regina Sabric will assume command from Col. David Smith. But the general made time in his schedule to get feedback from some of the wing’s young Airmen.“General Miller was a very good listener and addressed a lot of the concerns we had about medical coverage, force support, and ART (Air Reserve Technician) positions,” said Airman 1st Class David Aust, 419th Mission Support Group. “It was awesome to connect with the general’s staff as a young Airman starting out in the Reserve.” While here, Miller and the 10th AF command chief, Chief Master Sgt. James Loper, will also tour the wing’s mission support squadrons and F-35 operations and maintenance areas, meeting and greeting 419th Airmen along the way.
