Airman motivates Latino youth to aim high

HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — Eighth-grade students in the “Latinos in Action” program at Park City Junior High got a glimpse into the life of an Airman Jan. 26.

Lt. Col. TJ Eaton, a reservist in the 419th Fighter Wing inspector general office, visited the class to discuss his personal experiences, challenges, and accomplishments as a member of the U.S. Air Force.

The LIA program exists to empower Latino youth to obtain a higher education by providing them leadership, service, and cultural opportunities.

The 419th FW regularly send Airmen to schools or community events to tell the Air Force Reserve story and highlight the wing’s people and mission.
