The South Gate Visitor Center will close for remodeling at midnight Friday, Oct. 16 and is scheduled to remain closed through Nov. 2. 

During this time, base passes and other visitor center services will be processed at the West Gate Visitors Center, which can be accessed from 650 North in Clearfield. The West Gate Visitor Center and West Gate will be open 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The South Gate and Roy Gate will remain open 24/7.

Base personnel and visitors are reminded that the West Gate Visitor Center has limited parking. Additional parking is located near the Starbucks coffee shop located just west of the West Gate Visitors Center. Patrons should not park on the roadway.
