The Aerospace Heritage Foundation of Utah and the Hill museum are hosting the 2015 Food for Life Day and Wings and Wheels car show event from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Hill Aerospace Museum.
Eventgoers are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items for the Airman’s Attic at Hill Air Force Base
The Food for Life event replenishes the Hill AFB Airman’s Attic food pantry to continue to support those in need. The Airman’s Attic food pantry, through generous donations, provides nonperishable food items to active-duty military, retirees and other off-base community support agencies.
Entertainment is being provided by deejay JC Hackett, The Ogden Concert Band and the Saddle Strings Band. There will also be local food truck vendors available.
To register a vehicle or motorcycle for the event, visit the Aerospace Heritage Foundation of Utah website, www.aerospaceutah.org. Vehicle staging and registration event begins at 7 a.m. the day of the event.
The Air Force Association Northern Utah Chapter 235 will also hold a chili cook-off. If interested in participating, register by sending an email to afa.chapter.235@gmail.com. Cooking begins at 8 a.m. and eating/judging starts at 11:30 a.m.
