Airmen Against Drunk Driving hosts awareness campaign

Hill AFB’s Airmen Against Drunk Driving, or AADD, program hosted a simulated drunk obstacle course June 26 at the Warrior Fitness Center.

The event aimed to increase awareness of the base’s AADD program, which offers Airmen a free ride home if they’ve had too much to drink. Participants were challenged to navigate through obstacles while wearing “impairment goggles” that simulate inebriation.

The AADD service is available Fridays and Saturdays from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and Sundays from 9 p.m. to midnight. Airmen can request a free ride through the AADD by calling 801-777-1111.
