The Hill Officers’ Spouses’ Club worked diligently on Dec. 1, to decorate The Landing for the holiday season.
Around 10 volunteers gathered to complete this annual tradition of decorating. The Landing provided the decorations and Hill Officers’ Spouses’ Club volunteers put up trees, hung lights, draped garland, tied bows, put out seasonal plants, and hung ornaments. The Landing also provided a continental breakfast and lunch for volunteers as they worked to make the club festive for the holidays.
“The OSC decorates every room of the club: The Ballroom, Wasatch Room, Chief’s Room, Daedalian, O’ Lounge, Foyer, Enlisted Area and entrance.” said Myrna Niensiri, with the catering team at the Club.
Since before 2005, the Hill Officers’ Spouses’ Club has been involved with decorating The Landing for the holiday season.
“I think decorating the club gives our Officers’ Spouses’ Club an opportunity to have fun together,” said Tina Cook, President of the HOSC. “It also provides The Landing with a festive atmosphere for holiday functions.”
