LOA to hold new membership lunch
The Logistics Officer Association invites all members and those interested in becoming members to join the group for a luncheon with Maj. Gen. Andrew Busch on Sept. 25 at 11 a.m. Lunch will be held at the Log Cabin and will consist of a catered Dutch-oven style meal including an entrée, salad, drink and roll at a cost of $10. Lane closures at times at South Gate
Every Saturday through Sept. 26, there will be intermittent lane closures to allow civil engineering technicians to perform maintenance on the bollard barrier system on South Gate Drive. This maintenance is necessary to improve the efficiency of this mission critical system.
Power pole work to cause outage
There will be a power outage Sunday, Sept. 20, at 7 a.m., lasting for approximately 10 hours, in order to replace an unsafe power pole with high voltage connections which will affect all of the 1800 building area and the following facilities:
Buildings 1834, 1833, 1824, 1823, 1805, 1806, 1816, 1836, 1815, 1826, 1813, 1812, 1821, 1847, 1928, 1929, 2717, 1919, 1901, 1902, 1903 and 1904.

Lane closure ahead on Hickory Road
There will be a lane closure on Hickory Road to install a drain beginning at 6 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23, and continuing through Sept 25.
The work will encompass the area just to the south and west of Building 1621. Hickory Road will be reduced to one lane at that point.

AFOSI Recruitment at OO-ALC on Oct. 1
The Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Detachment 113, is hosting a briefing and recruiting event Oct. 1 at the Ogden Air Logistics Center Poe Conference Room. The detachment is seeking motivated personnel who would like to apply to become AFOSI special agents.
Enlisted Air Force members may apply for special agent duty once they have first served in another career field. Air Force members in the ranks of E-5 and E- 6 with fewer than 12 years of military service are eligible.
First-term Airmen must be within their retraining window. Grade restrictions may be waived in special or unusual circumstances. Current active-duty Air Force officers may retrain into AFOSI from most Air Force career fields. Officer applicants may have no more than six years federal commissioned service, have no more than 12 years of total federal military service and must be released by their Air Force Personnel Center assignment team.
All active duty applicants should bring two copies of their Records Review RIP (available online through the Virtual MPF Web site) to the recruitment.
