SALT LAKE CITY — Reservists in the 419th Fighter Wing supported their fellow Citizen Airmen in the 151st Air Refueling Wing with an F-35 static display during the Utah Air National Guard unit’s Wingman Day June 10.

Lt. Col. David DeAngelis, an F-35 pilot in the 419th FW, talked with Airmen and their families about the aircraft’s advanced capabilities and his experience as a fighter pilot.

DeAngelis recently took command of the 466th Fighter Squadron at Hill Air Force Base and previously served as commander of the 419th Operations Group, Detachment 1.

The event, which focused on family readiness and resources, also included an F-16 static display and drew more than 1,000 guests to the Guard base in Salt Lake City.
