The 2018 Warriors Over the Wasatch Air and Space Show at Hill AFB came to close June 24 following a weekend of awe-inspiring performances.

Hundreds of thousands of visitors converged on the base June 23-24 to witness the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds demonstration squadron, the U.S. Special Operations Command’s The Para-Commandos parachute team, and a 388th Fighter Wing F-35A attack sequence. Several other civilian performers stunned air show visitors during the show as well.

Senior Master Sgt. Dawn Roznos, 368th Recruiting Squadron, said air shows are a great way to inspire a new generation of heroes. She said they’re also a way for the Air Force to thank the public for their support.

In addition to the flying, there were dozens modern and historic military and civilian aircraft and equipment on display, and visitors were able to talk and interact with service members.

This year’s show included for the first time an entire hangar dedicated to STEM, which featured science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. Some of the largest aerospace companies in the world also showed up with displays as well as interactive activities.

The Hill Air Show takes place every other year. It is one of the largest shows in the country and the largest single event in Utah.

Hill is planning to hold another air show in 2020.
