The base’s South Gate Visitor Control Center is closed through Aug. 10 in order to accommodate renovations to the building. The renovations will enhance aesthetics and the security of the center. The closure includes all customer service functions at this location. The project is scheduled to occur through Aug. 10. During this time all visitor center support is moved to the West Gate Visitor’s Center located east of I-15 off of exit 335.
There is limited customer waiting space and parking at the West Gate and officials ask customers to be patient during the temporary construction period.
The West Gate Visitor’s Center is open from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
The following installation gate hours still apply:
• West Gate: Open 24 hours
• South Gate: Open 24 hours
• Roy Gate: Open 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday
If construction delays occur, they will be announced via the Hill AFB website at www.hill.af.mil, by base email and in the Hilltop Times base newspaper.
