HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — The BAE Systems Strategic Systems Business Unit employees recently rallied together to support Hill AFB’s Operation Warm Heart with a ‘burger burn’ event that raised $12,879.
In conjunction with Military Appreciation Month, the BAE team was able also raised funds for Operation Warm Heart by volunteering to support the Ragnar Wasatch Back Relay in early June. This volunteer effort raised an additional $850.
As a result, BAE presented a check June 20 to Hill’s Operation Warm Heart for a total of $13,729.
Event organizers with BAE said this opportunity to collaborate and team with Operation Warm Heart reflects the pride of the BAE Systems team and demonstrates their commitment both to the military and community partners.
Operation Warm Heart is an Air Force first sergeants’ program aimed at helping Airmen with financial assistance.
