649th MUNS inventory Aug. 23

The 649th MUNS will be conducting 100 percent inventories of the Base (FV2027), Test (FV2171), and STAMP (FV2304) stockpiles from Sept. 4-15, 2017. All Base, Test, and STAMP customers requiring munitions support during this timeframe must deliver the applicable documentation to the Custody Accounts section NLT Aug. 23. During the inventories, the only transactions that will be supported are emergency requests approved in writing by the group commander or equivalent. Please direct any questions to Tech. Sgt. Commander’s Cup golf tourney

The Aerospace Heritage Foundation of Utah is hosting the Commander’s Cup Golf Tournament Sept. 5. Check in begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by a clinic at 11:15 a.m. before the shotgun start at noon. The $150, per golfer, covers the cost of green fees, cart, food and prizes; all proceeds benefit the Hill Aerospace Museum. To participate, sign up to play by Aug. 26. Ruck march

The 2nd Annual September 11th Memorial Ruck March will take place Sept. 11 at 7:59 a.m. Marchers will depart from Fire Station #2. The ruck march is free to all participants. Hill AFB appreciation

The Davis Arts Council welcomes Hill AFB to their “Summer Night with the Stars” Sept. 16 at the Ed Kenley Amphitheater in Layton. Performing will be the group Hotel California, a tribute act saluting the music of The Eagles. Air Force Ball held Sept. 23

The Air Force Ball will be held Sept. 23 at the Eccles Center in Ogden; social hour begins at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. The event is open to all DOD employees, military members, retirees, and their guests. Immunization clinic closure notice

The 75th Medical Group Immunizations Clinic will be closed daily from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PLEASE NOTE that the last sign-in for morning services will be at 11:00 a.m. In addition, the immunizations clinic closes every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. for smallpox vaccinations administration. AFMC Family Days observed in 2017

Hill AFB will observe the following AFMC Family Days in 2017: Sept. 1, in conjunction with Labor Day on Sept. 4; Nov. 24, in conjunction with Thanksgiving Day on Nov. 23; and Dec. 26, in conjunction with Christmas on Dec. 25. The Hill AFB Roy Gate will be closed on all holidays including the Nov. 24 AFMC Family Day. Supervisors are encouraged to follow liberal leave procedures for Family Days and may approve annual leave, compensatory time, time-off award, credit hours, or leave without pay for their employees.
