Air & Space Show Fast Facts

Warriors Over the Wasatch Air and Space Show is June 23-24.

Gates open at 8 a.m. The show begins at 9:30 a.m. Gates close at 5 p.m. Admission is free. However, exclusive VIP tickets are available at TheUtahAirShow.com.

Event parking is available on- and off-base, but you should highly consider using public transportation. Visit RideUTA.com for special fares to and from the show Saturday and Sunday. If you choose to drive, use the West or Roy Gates. Off-base parking is located at Northridge High School and Weber State Davis Campus.

No coolers allowed inside the venue, unless it’s for medication or baby formula/food. Clear water bottles are fine.

Handheld umbrellas are allowed. No tents, awnings or large beach umbrellas can be brought to the show.

No smoking is allowed inside the venue. This includes e-cigarettes and Vape pens.

No weapons including pocket knives

Utah Military/Gold Star Families Concert Tour

Barry Michael will perform country music during a free concert June 22 at Station Park located in Farmington and June 23 at the amphitheater located at Camp Williams. The concert begins at 7 p.m. both days. Michael has opened for bands such as Tim McGraw, The Band Perry, Kelly Pickler and others. Food, lawn chairs and blankets may be brought to the performances.

Commissary closure

The Hill AFB Commissary will close at 3 p.m. June 24 and remain closed through June 26 in order to reset of the entire sales floor. The reset will include the store’s chilled and frozen sections, as well as the bottom three shelves throughout the store. The commissary will reopen at 9 a.m. June 27. Call 801-777-2175 for details.

LGBT Pride Month Luncheon

Hill personnel and families are invited to the annual Hill AFB Pride Month Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. June 26 at The Landing. The guest speaker will be retired Air Force Maj. Angie Rice. The lunch menu includes a grilled chicken strawberry salad, vegetarian strawberry pecan salad or deli club sandwich.

Tickets are $13 for club members and $15 for non-members. An invite was sent to base employees by email in early June. Call Senior Airman Josh Masin at 801-586-3402 or Colleen Mewing at 801-777-9779 for details.

Commissary shopping sprees

The Hill Commissary will offer two shopping sprees June 30 at 8:30 a.m. to an eligible military member and military retiree. Each spree includes three-minutes to shop the store, not to exceed $300.

Entry forms are available for commissary shoppers at the main entry of the store between now and the giveaway weekend. Winners must be present at the Hill Commissary location at the time of the drawing to win. Call 801-777-2175 for details.

South Gate Visitor Center closure

The South Gate Visitor Center will close July 9-Aug. 10 for renovations. During this time, all customer service functions will relocate to the West Gate Visitor Center located just east of I-15 exit 335.

The West Gate Visitor Center will be open 5 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Call 801-586-2360 for more information.
