Combat dining-in

Team Hill 5/6 will host a combat dining-in for all Hill AFB military members Saturday, Oct. 14, 5-8 p.m. in bldg. 295. Cost is $10 and this includes a meal. Hill AFB appreciation game

Weber State University will hold their annual Hill AFB Appreciation Football Game against Southern Utah on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Stewart Stadium in Ogden. The free Wildcat Fan Fest with burgers, bounce houses, face painters, and games begins at 4 p.m.; kickoff will be at 6 p.m. All active, retired, and civilian Team Hill members showing their government-issued ID at the Dee Events Center Ticket Office now through Oct. 13 can receive up to four complimentary tickets. They can also show their ID at any ticket window the day of the game.

Events to benefit veterans

The 10th Annual George E. Wahlen Veterans Tribute Run and Chili Cook-off will be held Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017. There will be 5K and 10K runs and a 1-mile walk followed by a chili cook-off. Proceeds will be donated to the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home in Ogden. The event begins at the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home (1102 N. 1200 W., Ogden) at 10 a.m. and ends at the First United Methodist Church (1339 W. 400 N. in Marriott-Slaterville). AFMC Family Days observed in 2017

Hill AFB will observe the following AFMC Family Days in 2017: Nov. 24, in conjunction with Thanksgiving Day on Nov. 23; and Dec. 26, in conjunction with Christmas on Dec. 25. The Hill AFB Roy Gate will be closed on all holidays including the Nov. 24 AFMC Family Day. Supervisors are encouraged to follow liberal leave procedures for Family Days and may approve annual leave, compensatory time, time-off award, credit hours, or leave without pay for their employees. Immunization clinic closure notice

The 75th Medical Group Immunizations Clinic will be closed daily from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please note that the last sign-in for morning services will be at 11 a.m. In addition, the immunizations clinic closes every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. for smallpox vaccinations administration.
