Immunization clinic closure notice

The 75th Medical Group Immunizations Clinic will be closed daily from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PLEASE NOTE that the last sign-in for morning services will be at 11:00 a.m. In addition, the immunizations clinic closes every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. for smallpox vaccinations administration. Free Ogden Raptors tickets Aug. 11

The Top of Utah Military Affairs has free tickets for Hill Appreciation Night at Lindquist Field with the Ogden Raptors Friday, Aug. 11, at 7 p.m. Unit POCs can pick up tickets for their organizations at the 75th Air Base Wing Public Affairs Office, building 1102, room 115, between 8 a.m.-3:30 pm, Monday – Thursday until the day of the game.

Free military appreciation event

Roy Christian Church will host an evening of fun, food, and prizes at the Roy Aquatic Center for Airmen and families with an active duty or reserve ID card. The free event will be Saturday, Aug. 12 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. For information call 801-731-4378 or visit www.roychristian.org.

Special Observance Festival Aug. 17

The Team Hill Special Observance Council will recognize the 10 Department of Defense Special Observances observed throughout the year by hosting the 2d Annual Special Observance festival Thursday, Aug. 17, from 4-7 p.m. at Hill AFB’s Centennial Park, pavilions 1 and 2. Chief’s Group Golf Tournament

The 20th annual Chiefs’ Group Golf Tournament will be held Aug. 18 at the Hubbard Golf Course, Hill AFB. Entry fee is $60 per person or $240 per team. Registration is at 7 a.m. and a shotgun start will begin at 8 a.m.; the format is a four-person scramble. Entry fee includes green fee, golf cart, lunch and prizes to include a $10,000 hole-in-one. 649th MUNS inventory

The 649th MUNS will be conducting 100 percent inventories of the Base (FV2027), Test (FV2171), and STAMP (FV2304) stockpiles from Sept. 4-15, 2017. All Base, Test, and STAMP customers requiring munitions support during this timeframe must deliver the applicable documentation to the Custody Accounts section NLT Aug. 23. During the inventories, the only transactions that will be supported are emergency requests approved in writing by the group commander or equivalent. Please direct any questions to Tech. Sgt. Commander’s Cup golf tourney

The Aerospace Heritage Foundation of Utah is hosting the Commander’s Cup Golf Tournament Sept. 5. Check in begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by a clinic at 11:15 a.m. before the shotgun start at noon. The $150, per golfer, covers the cost of green fees, cart, food and prizes; all proceeds benefit the Hill Aerospace Museum. To participate, sign up to play by Aug. 26. ALS civilian attendance Sept. 22-Oct. 26

Are you interested in learning how to be an effective supervisor and leader in your work center? All eligible Team Hill civilian employees are now able to attend the Hill Airman Leadership School (ALS). This enlisted professional military education course is a voluntary opportunity to broaden knowledge of the military profession while learning leadership skills and how to lead and manage teams. The knowledge gained through this course not only will provide a background on how to supervise military but it also enhances skills for supervising civilian employees.

Parking lot closure

Full rows from east to west in the southernmost third of Parking Lot #1, located north of the Base Exchange parking lot, will be closed through 5 p.m. on Aug. 20. However, the west end road will remain open to facilitate access to the IB Store and Security Forces building.
