HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — The Staff Sgt. Derek F. Ramos Satellite Pharmacy will be closing one day per month for staff training and system maintenance. On these training days, the ScriptCenter kiosk is available for prescription pick-up.
The training closures will take place the fourth Monday of each month beginning March 27, 2017. The pharmacy asks that patients wishing to use the ScriptCenter on these closure days plan in advance to ensure their medications are in the kiosk. Additionally, for acute prescription needs, the Main Clinic Pharmacy will remain open.
In January, the 75th Medical Group Pharmacy introduced its ScriptCenter-MX automated pick-up kiosk at the satellite pharmacy located inside the Hill AFB Exchange.
The kiosk provides TRICARE beneficiaries expanded pharmacy access to pick up refills during weekends, holidays (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas), and weekdays after hours until 7 p.m., or anytime the Exchange is open. Please note, prescriptions requiring refrigeration must still be picked up from the pharmacy counter.
TRICARE beneficiaries are able to register with a user ID or pin number or use the ScriptCenter’s ‘Single Prescription Access’ function. With either option, patients will need an active prescription number to use the kiosk.
Beneficiaries are now able to select the ScriptCenter kiosk as their pick-up location from the pharmacy phone menu by selecting option 2. Prescriptions are ready by 10 a.m. the following duty day. Prescriptions must be picked up within 10 duty days or they are returned to the pharmacy.
